Reports to the California Assembly have estimated that a minimum of 75% reported as suspected child abusers should not be on CACI. Usually people do not learn that they have been identified as a suspected child abuser until they apply for a job or until a background search or security clearance is performed. Currently three million (3,000,000) people are on CACI. Most have no idea they have been listed on CACI until they get a notice from DOJ, lose a job, cannot get a job or are denied a security clearance. There are approximately two million (2,000,000) people wrongly listed on CACI. |
